Journey Through Jurassic - The Game

Journey Through Jurassic is a survival tower defence game where you must hold out against waves of infected dinosaurs.

The game revolves around the player who goes out into the wild to scavenge resources, which they’ll need to craft turrets and fortify themselves. They must survive the night and cure the dinosaurs from this infection.

Gameplay

Journey Through Jurassic blends tower defense with survival strategy. You’ll start each run gathering basic materials: wood and stone to craft and place turrets that match three different elemental types: Fire, Nature, and Ice.

Each dinosaur also belongs to an element, creating a simple but tactical rock-paper-scissors system. 

Place the wrong turrets and the defense breaks. Place the right ones, and you might live another day.

Between waves, you will scavenge resources, expand your defenses, and make tough calls: fortify your base or risk exploring for better resources? Your choices shape how long you survive.

Narrative

The game takes place in the near future, where scientists were able to bio engineer dinosaurs, who now live under watch and care of the scientists in a “sanctuary”.

Things changed when an otherworldly meteor crash landed inside the sanctuary and began radiating strange particles. This radiation turned the once docile dinosaurs hostile, attacking any and all they see. 

To fight this infection, the scientists made K207, a little drone whose job it is to go out into the wild and collect samples from the meteor so a cure may be found.

K207 may be small but he’s a capable little droid who has the ability to scavenge resources and also convert them into turrets. It’ll have to use these turrets to defend itself from the dinosaurs.
